Open Innovation Space

The Open Innovation Space is an open platform – a place for encounter and creative exchange between innovative brains from all over the world. Initiated by the medical technology company Ottobock and managed by the open development workshop Fab Lab Berlin it represents a close to market infrastructure for interdisciplinary research and freely accessible education.
This creative workshop is not utilized by Ottobock development engineers only. Employees of academic institutions, private hobbyists or start-ups, searching for space and networking for next innovations, they all practice this exchange. Goal of this interdisciplinary cooperation are concepts and ideas which emerge to inventions and product developments.

The Fab Lab offers basic equipment like 3D printers and laser cutters and machinery consisting
