Business Incubation in Singapore
In **Singapore** there is no association for innovation centers. The following information is aimed at providing an overview and general information about the actual situation of enterprise promotion and business incubation in the country. The Singapore Government will create a S$ 10,8 million fund to boost technological entrepreneurship in the country during the next 3 years. This "Technology Incubator Program" will support promising technol-ogy and knowledge based start-ups by providing grants up to 85 per cent of the R&D and related ex-penditures (max. S$ 300,00 per company). The fund will be administrated by the NSTB, National Sci-ence and Technology Board. Another step to promote Singapore as a major center for information tech-nology and research & development is the government plan to extend the science park. S$ 5 million are planned to be invested in this park extension covering the area of the National University of Singapore.
