The Finnish Science Park Association TEKEL is a nationwide co-operation network of Finnish science parks and technology centres, containing 30 members in Finland’s university cities. Together with its partners, TEKEL develops internationally attractive environments for innovation.

Aims of the association
Finnish science parks offer excellent opportunities to foreign investors wishing to start a business or gain a foothold in Finland. Finnish science parks feature state-of-the-art technology companies and highly skilled personnel in the fields of telecommunication, automation, medical technology, biotechnology, just to name a few areas of expertise. The Finnish Science Park Association seeks to promote the common interests and aims of its members. Todate science parks and technology centers have been established in 15 cities all over the country. Ninety percent of the Finnish research is done in these cities. TEKEL centers.
