WeHubs European Network of Women Web Entrepreneurs

WeHubs is the First European Network of Women Web Entrepreneurs Hubs that aims to create a more favourable and inspiring environment for women Web Entrepreneurs in Europe. Digital economy and entrepreneurship are driving growth and value creation at a global level. However until now women have played a minor role in it. In Europe women represent only 19% of the web entrepreneurs compared to an average of 33% in the USA. WeHubs aims to provide a strong support to women web entrepreneurs in Europe and increase their participation in web enterprises by encouraging the existing web entrepreneur’s ecosystems to provide dedicated support and services to women. Through a set of services targeted to women and web entrepreneur’s ecosystems the project will foster the creation and scaling of web start-ups created by women, strengthen the existing ecosystems and support the emergence of a dynamic European environment for women web entrepreneurs. On top of that, WeHubs will contribute to engendering relevant policies in European Entrepreneurship and the formulation of relevant initiatives such as the StartUp Europe.
