Business Incubators Network in Tunisia

The creation of business in Tunisia started in 1999. At tis time (2010), there are 30 business incubators in Tunisia networked thrugh the “Business Incubators Network in Tunisia”. The evolution since 1999 has resulted in tree types of Business Incubators operating in Tunisian today: Incubators promoted by academic institutions, incubators operating under "Convention API / Universities" and Incubators backed to technoparks.

Aims of the association
The **mission** of the National Network of business incubators is to coordinate the operational activities of business incubator including the following actions: - Development of the information flow and exchange - Feeding the national website of incubators, website of the network - Develop a database on businesses served by te incubators - Publishing a newsletter. - Organize national events around the creation of enterprises - Promote National Partnership and International Cooperation - Develop the skills of Business Incubation - Support the staff recruitment for business incubators, - Implement a certification process - quality of services for business incubators.

Membership criteria
To become full member of the network, a Business Incubator must sign a charter that formalizes the engagement of the business incubator to follow a set of management tools and to participate to the activities of the network.<br />The network is open to all business incubators located in Tunisia and is structured by two decision bodies:<br />The Steering Committee, that meets at least every six months which sets strategic direction.<br />The Technical Coordinating Committee <br />
