Caribbean Business Incubator Association

The Caribbean Business Incubator Association was launched October 28, 2009 at the Thrid infoDev Global Forum on Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Florianopolis, Brazil. The Association is currently dormant due to lack of funding however EPIC a CIDA funded Entrepreneurial project for the Caribbean region is looking at resourcing and developing the CBIA The CBIA is still dormant for the time being. The region is still fighting it way out of the current global economic crisis. It is our feeling that the Business Incubation process can be part of the solution to the crisis that we now face, the challenge is to convince the policy makers to whom Business Incubation is a new concept yet to be proven.
