He is a pioneer in business incubation and technology commercialization and has received recognition for turning economic theory into practical results through creative international collaborations. Most recently his activities, for example, include working as consultant to infoDev (World Bank) facilitating start and development of an incubator network in MENA (MIddle East and North Africa, facilitating the international workgroup on Women Business Incubation. and helping to build the frist business incubator in Managua (Nicaragua).
Mr. Fiedler spent four years as the Deputy Director of the Technology Transfer Office of the Technical University of Berlin. He helped implement the concept for the first office of technology transfer at a German university and helped create a set of tools to support university technology spin-offs. These activities resulted in starting the first business incubator in Germany, the BIG Berlin (1983). Mr. Fiedler led this incubator during the first years of operation. During this time the initiative was expended toward a technology park (1985). In 1986 Mr. Fiedler was co-founder of the German Business Incubator Association (ADT). After formal establishemnt of ADT in 1988 he severed that association as (Executive) Board Member for more than ten years.
Mr. Fiedler’s activities have provided him with unique insights into successful economic growth strategies. He has participated in feasibility studies for business incubators in Germany and other countries. He is a speaker at conferences on every continent. He was editor of quarterly newsletters in German and English and has published directories of innovation centers - including the global SPICA Directory (online since 2002), the only comprehensive directory of business incubators, technoparks, and their associations worldwide.
Other business esperinece include working in private sector real estate management, development and investment for more than 16 years as well as working in the Berlin State Ministry for Finance. In this function, for example, he was responsible for restructuring the real estate facility management of the State of Berlin.

Krzysztof Zasiadly has 36 years experience in regional development, NGO operations and activities, business incubation development as well as transfer of technology and innovation in Poland, Europe and Asia. Krzysztof Zasiadly has 36 years experience in regional development, NGO operations and activities, business incubation development as well as transfer of technology and innovation in Poland, Europe and Asia.
He has been managing different teams since 1976 when he became Director of Polish Economic Association, Poznan Province Branch. He founded and managed the Wielkopolska Business and Innovation Centre, Inc.(1990-1994), the first Polish Business Incubator. In 1990-1991 he was the Project Manager of the United Nations Development Programme “Feasibility Programme for Establishment of Technology Incubation Centre and Master Plan for Technology Park in Poland”
He was a founder and in 1993-1999 President of Polish Business and Innovation Centers Association. He was a founder of Innovation Centres in Eastern and Central Europe Work Group in 1991 as well as International Group of Science Park and Innovation Centre Experts in 1998. He is Vice President of both groups.
He is certified Project Manager, member of International Project Management Association.
In 1990 – 2011 Krzysztof Zasiadly has managed and technically assisted 69 Business Incubators and Technology Parks programmes in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran and Turkey.
As a part of a national and international network of associates , Krzysztof Zasiadly consults and conducts training locally, nationally and internationally in starting and managing business, entrepreneurship promotion, establishment and
operations of business incubators, business and innovation centres, science and technology parks, technology transfer centres.
In 1995-2011 he conducted training for American, Russian, Uzbek, Kazakh, Croatian, Belarusian, Tajik , Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Mongolian, Kyrgyz, Georgian, Iranian and Turkish managers and developers of business incubators in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran and Turkey.
From March 2004 till August 2007 Zasiadly was member of Monitoring Committee of Integrated Operational Programme of Regional Development at Polish Government.
Since September 2003 Zasiadly has been resource person to the World Bank InfoDev Incubator Initiative, Washington.
Since 1990 Krzysztof Zasiadly has organized and conducted 31 international conferences on regional development, business incubation, technology transfer, agribusiness.
Krzysztof Zasiadly has been author, co-author and editor of 41 books on business incubation, technology transfer and local development.

Gerhard was Vice President of ADT German Federal Association of Innovation and Business Incubation Centres (1992-2000) and provided knowledge and good practices for creating and operating business incubators. In the mid-nineties he was in-volved with a program to advice governments in East European countries to create business incubators. Gerhard is holding Engineer Degree in Factory Planning and Doctorate Degree in Economy of Science.
