About SPICA

Aims

The aim of SPICA Directory is to improve the understanding of the mechanisms, instruments and potentials of innovation centers by

• providing a basic global overview to describe the situation of business incubation in the different countries
• offering information about basic key data describing innovation centers
• summarizing definitions used and thereby help to develop mutual understanding
• strengthening cooperation between national and international associations to respond to the needs of tenant companies in a global economy
• developing and intensifying direct international cooperation between business incubators and science / technology parks
• extending and intensifying the support network for international business cooperation (of tenant companies as well as other innovative firms).
